TECHNICAL FEATURES

  • Cage developed with ergonomists as part of a CASDAR project on the work difficulties of sheep breeders.Adapts to different animal sizes (from ewe lambs to rams) thanks to adjustable height and under-chest supports. Easy, quick, and secure adjustment.
  • Optimized animal entry and exit thanks to front and rear guillotine doors: forward visibility encourages the animal to move forward.
  • Quick and easy restraint with four hydraulic controls.
  • Cradle raises and lowers with two cylinders and two maintenance-free slide systems (no lubrication required).
  • Easy and quick access to the inside of the cage thanks to the chassis notch: facilitates cleaning, maintenance, and hoof trimming while facing the animal.
  • Optimized hoof diagnostic conditions with spotlights.
  • Spots allow discrimination of areas to be treated. Easy maintenance and transport of the cage.
  • Storage bins for tools and consumables.
  • Adaptable to a handling race to facilitate continuous animal flow.
  • Once the animal is back on its feet, the exit door must be opened to allow continuous and efficient movement.
  • Animal can be brought to its feet with a single control.  

COMMANDES HYDRAULIQUES

  • With a trolley allowing the hydraulic pump to be placed at a distance.
  • Three hydraulic controls at the front of the cage:
  • Control 1: Opening and closing of the under-chest supports
  • Control 2: Anti-reverse
  • Control 3: Animal rotation
  • One hydraulic control at the rear of the cage: Control 4: Height adjustment of the cradle

RETOURNEMENT DE L'ANIMAL 

  • Animal entry through the guillotine door (manual control)
  • Securing the animal with the under-chest supports (hydraulic control No. 1)
  • Anti-reverse (hydraulic control No. 2)
  • Rotating the animal onto its side (hydraulic control No. 3)
  • Adjusting the cradle height to facilitate work (hydraulic control No. 4 at the rear of the cage)
  • Standing the animal up with a single hydraulic control that performs the following three successive actions: standing the animal up, opening the under-chest supports, and then opening the anti-reverse (hydraulic control No. 3).
