TECHNICAL FEATURES
Cage developed with ergonomists as part of a CASDAR project on the work difficulties of sheep breeders.Adapts to different animal sizes (from ewe lambs to rams) thanks to adjustable height and under-chest supports. Easy, quick, and secure adjustment.
Optimized animal entry and exit thanks to front and rear guillotine doors: forward visibility encourages the animal to move forward.
Quick and easy restraint with four hydraulic controls.
Cradle raises and lowers with two cylinders and two maintenance-free slide systems (no lubrication required).
Easy and quick access to the inside of the cage thanks to the chassis notch: facilitates cleaning, maintenance, and hoof trimming while facing the animal.
Optimized hoof diagnostic conditions with spotlights.
Spots allow discrimination of areas to be treated.
Easy maintenance and transport of the cage.
Storage bins for tools and consumables.
Adaptable to a handling race to facilitate continuous animal flow.
Once the animal is back on its feet, the exit door must be opened to allow continuous and efficient movement.
Animal can be brought to its feet with a single control.
COMMANDES HYDRAULIQUES
With a trolley allowing the hydraulic pump to be placed at a distance.
Three hydraulic controls at the front of the cage:
Control 1: Opening and closing of the under-chest supports
Control 2: Anti-reverse
Control 3: Animal rotation
One hydraulic control at the rear of the cage:
Control 4: Height adjustment of the cradle
RETOURNEMENT DE L'ANIMAL
Animal entry through the guillotine door (manual control)
Securing the animal with the under-chest supports (hydraulic control No. 1)
Anti-reverse (hydraulic control No. 2)
Rotating the animal onto its side (hydraulic control No. 3)
Adjusting the cradle height to facilitate work (hydraulic control No. 4 at the rear of the cage)
Standing the animal up with a single hydraulic control that performs the following three successive actions: standing the animal up, opening the under-chest supports, and then opening the anti-reverse (hydraulic control No. 3).
